Computer Programmer

One Step Logic focuses on offering top-notch Crestron programming services to our clients and is a proud member of the Crestron Authorized Independent Programmer (CAIP) program. We have an immediate need for a talented Computer Programmer with the passion for developing high quality programs.

The Computer Programmer will be responsible for developing customized Crestron programs for small to large-scale audio/video, security and lighting applications. The Programmer will develop, adjust, test and troubleshoot all programs for our clients. The successful candidate must have a proven track record for completing projects on a schedule basis and the ability to multi-task.

Minimum Requirements :
* 2 or more years of working experience in the following: C/C++ and Java
* Ability to read line diagrams and create, develop and debug modules along with an understanding of RS-232 wiring interfaces/protocols
* Experience testing and debugging code and communications for shop tests and field installations
* Strong troubleshooting, system testing, and good ability to “think on your feet”
* Strong verbal, written, organizational and communication skills
* Clean driving record and driver’s license – reliable work vehicle required
* Ability to learn quickly and make good decisions

Desirable Qualifications :
* Any Crestron Programming course – Intermediate or Certified Crestron Programmer a plus!
* Knowledge of Crestron equipment, experience in control system programming
* Audio visual design, installation and service experience of high-end multi room systems
* Self-starter with strong leadership qualities who can work under pressure
* Neat appearance, professional attitude with attention to details
* Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends and long hours
